Bill Regan, Training Coordinator
Bill Regan has been the Training Coordinator since 2002. During his career he has
worked both in commercial and industrial painting. In 1992 Bill was elected Financial
Secretary of Local 10 where he served for several years as dispatcher, pension trustee and
agent for the public works contractors for the painters. With this background, he brings
to his job a unique understanding of the trades, the union, and the needs of the
contractors. |

Harry Kalin, Painting Instructor
Harry has worked in the painting industry since 1978 with a background in commercial
painting; specialty coating; and industrial applications. His certifications include NACE
CIP 1; SSPC Instructor C3, C5 and C7; and EPA RRP. Harry joined the Training Center staff
in January 2007. |

Joanne Nordquist, Office Manager
Joanne has worked with a variety of unions and union members for over 30 years. She came
to the Training Center in 2008 and maintains the training records, schedules classes and
provides assistance to the instructors. |

Marti Fagin, Painting Instructor
Marti has over 30 years experience in the painting industry, including industrial work in
the shipyards. She teaches apprentice and journeyman classes in the Eugene/Springfield
area. Marti is a full-time painting instructor at the Wolf Creek Job Corps center. |

Chris Heino, Painting Instructor
Chris is well-known in the industry for his skills in wood finishing and faux finish. He
teaches beginning and advanced classes in Wood Finishing, Faux Finishing, Color Mixing and
Marbleizing both for apprentices and journeymen. |

Chris Stuckart, Traffic Control
Instructor
Chris Stuckart gives classes for the Traffic Control Painters each year during the winter
months. Chris is himself a graduate of the Apprenticeship program. |

John George, Painting
Instructor
John works for a commercial painting contractor in Portland and also teaches classes at
the Training center. He is a certified EPA RRP instructor and holds certifications in all
of the journeyman safety classes. John is himself a graduate of the apprenticeship
program. |

Forest Martin, Painting
Instructor
Forest, a Marine Corps veteran, became a union painter in 1975 and was a Job Corps
instructor for five years. He has been a certified instructor at the Training Center since
1999 and specializes in safety training. |

Rich Fausone, Drywall Instructor
For many years Rich was self-employed in a Drywall and Plastering business and currently
has a taper tools repair business. He is himself a graduate of the apprenticeship program
and teaches Drywall Finishing to apprentices at the Training Center. |
